CRISPY SWEET POTATO ROAST

This dish is designed for the lazy home cooks like myself and also great for when multi- tasking other dishes, it takes 10 mins to prepare. You simply chuck this in the oven then move on to cooking the rest of your meal.  Absolutely delicious just make sure its nice and crunchy when you take it out! Serve it as a side dish with any steak, or protein.

Serves 8

3 Tbsp Unsalted Butter { melted }
3 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2-3 Sweet Potatoes  { peeled }
Coarse Salt { 3- 4 pinches}
Pepper {3- 4 Pinches}
3 Tsp Dried Rosemary or fresh rosemary
3 Tsp Dried Thyme or fresh thyme
1 Tsp Mixed Spices

 [ D I R E C T I O N S ] 
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a small bowl, combine butter and oil. With a sharp knife or mandoline, slice potatoes very thinly crosswise.
2. Brush bottom of a round 9 -inch baking dish with some butter mixture.
3. Arrange potato slices vertically in a dish to create a nice pattern.
4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then scatter the dry herbs mixture with remaining butter mixture.
5. Bake for 1 1/2 hours or bake until potatoes are cooked through with a crispy top. 
6. SERVE IT NICE AND CRISPY! ENJOY
    


CHINESE TRANSLATION

脆焗蕃薯片
材料: 無鹽牛油3 湯匙(溶液)
橄欖油3湯匙
甜蕃薯3-4 個(去皮)
鹽3-4 茶匙,胡椒粉適量
迷迭香(乾料或新鮮)3 茶匙
麝香草(乾料或新鮮)3 茶匙
混合香草 1 茶匙
做法: 1)預熱烤爐至300度
用小碗混合牛油及欖油,
用利刀或刨機將蕃薯切成薄片。
2) 取岀適用之焗盆掃上油。
3) 在焗盆內排好蕃薯片。
4) 灑上胡椒粉及鹽,再平均灑上所有香料及餘下之牛油。
5) 入烤爐1小時30分焗至薯片金黃,表面香脆便成.
6) 一盆金黃香脆的蕃薯片上桌供食。
