MANGO SAGO DESSERT

This mango dessert is one of my favorite desserts! It's refreshing, perfect for summer and a low fat treat! It's quick to make and uses very little ingredients, with most things already readily available in your kitchen cupboard!

4 Sweet Mangoes
1/2 to 1 small packet of sago or as desired
1 can or 125ml of low fat evaporated milk
250 ml Mango juice
50 ml Water
2-3 Tbsp Sugar

1. Bring about 4 cups of water to boil in a saucepan. Add in sago and bring it to boil. Once boiling, continue to stir or a few minutes then turn off the heat and cover the saucepan. Leave it covered for 10-20 mins. At this stage the sago should be transparent. Don't worry if you still see a white centre, it will go away once you rinse it!
2. Drain the sago in a strainer and rinse under cold running water until it cools down and the water runs clear. Set Aside.
3. Peel and cut the mango into cubes. Set aside some of the cut mango for garnish.
4. Blend the rest of the mango, sugar with the 50ml of water until smooth!
5. Now add mango juice to the blender.
6. Add milk and stir well with spoon.
7. Add in sago pearls and mango cubes and stir until well combined.
8. CHILL BEFORE SERVING!! ENJOY!!

CHINESE TRANSLATION

芒果珍珠甜杯
材料: 熟芒果4個
西米1小包或隨意(約1碗)
低脂花奶1罐
芒果汁1包(約250ml)
冷開水50ml (可用淡椰汁代替,更美味)
糖2-3湯匙
做法:1)用小煲放入4杯清水煮滾。
下西米再煮至滾,不停撹動數分鐘,熄火,
蓋好焗20-30分鐘,開蓋西米應已全部透明
或有小白點在中央也成。
2) 西米隔去水份,用凍水冲洗,濾去水份,盛起。
3) 芒果去皮將肉切成小方粒。
4) 刮出其餘附在皮上及核上的果肉。
加入糖及50ml冷開水用攪拌機打成茸。
5) 倒入芒果汁在芒果茸內。
6) 再倒入花奶1罐,同打均勻,取出放1大碗內。
7) 加入西米及芒果方粒,拌勻,分放入杯中,
放入雪柜雪凍,取出供食。
